I am one of the few who enjoy indoor workouts.
The gym we are members of has Olympic and 25-metre pools, more spin bikes than you can poke a stick at, many other cardio workout machines, and lots and lots of weights and associated strengthing equipment. Plus there are two spa baths, two saunas, a water slide, and free group workout sessions for members.
And with the weather the way it is here (getting on to winter), indoors is a good thing.
And, despite all the cycling I might do, my weight losses have been more substantial with swimming and walking for 90 minutes at least twice a week.
