I put 700x32 Gatorskins on my cross bike 2 years ago and around 3000 miles later I've never gotten a flat and they really don't look all that much different than when I put them on. Keep them on the lower end of their recommended range and they will wear well. It's obviously hard for me not to recommend them. My weight varies in the 230's and I keep the rear around 90-95 and the front around 85-90. I also put 700x25 Gatorskins on my Pinarello and had no flats after 1000 miles. However, I decided to put Conti GP 4000 II's on the Pinarello to have something more supple and sporty. Overall the Gatorskins have been excellent for me (over 4k miles between two bikes with NO flats and virtually no wear).
