Another trip involving the train would be the Gaspé peninsula from Mont-Joli to Campbellton, NB. The train arrives in Mont-Joli in early morning and leaves Campbellton in late evening so you don't lose days riding the train. This is one of the best trip you can do in Québec. There are quite a few hills on the northeast side of the peninsula.
