It turned out I needed valve stems with bigger base because the holes on these DT Swiss rims are bigger. So far so good. They are not aero, but pretty light. Just a tad over 1400 grams.
My Stan's Alpha 340's came with the tubeless valve gasket sitting on TOP of the Stan's rim tape. The hole in the tape is meant to be small, just enough for the metal valve to go through, not the gasket. Prior to this I had my LBS convert my tubeless ready Giant P-SL0 wheelset to tubeless and they made the hole size in the tape so that the gasket went through it. In removing the valve it was very difficult due to the tape holding the gasket in. I also use the Schwalbe One Tubeless tire. It was very difficult to mount on the Giant wheels, but not the Stan's.
