in need of a 1.37 x 24t Italian thread bottom bracket... am i crazy??
OK so I'm building a 91-ish Bianchi SLX from the frameset up. I ordered an Italian thread 70mm bottom bracket, only to find that it was too wide for the bb shell (36x24). I currently have a used Suntour 1.37x24t bb in there, found at a local non-profit bike shop, but the problem is that the spindle is too long and my front derailleur isn't working with it. I've been trying to find a 1.37x24t 70x111mm bottom bracket, but I can't find anything because it seems that 36x24 is the Italian size that should correspond with the 70mm length and clockwise threading, so now I just feel crazy. Help me out please!
