Yep, I'm from Maine and it took me a minute to wrap my head around the opposing busy seasons. But it does make sense. High 90s for both heat and humidity coupled with evening rainshowers and thunderstorms don't make for awesome riding...

In fact, as a bike mechanic in New England suffering reduced hours (and income) in the Winter, it occurred to me that I ought to get migrant and head south for the Winter busy season some place a lot warmer than Maine.
