Raced Tandemonium last friday. We were the first team to set a flying lap time for qualifiers. We ended up with 19.1s, which was good enough for third place. We won our first sprint, which brought us to semis, lost that sprint by less than a bike length, and won our final for 3rd place. In the tandem scratch, we made a move going into 3 to go, won a prime, but got caught by the first place sprint team in turn 4, and two other teams in the home stretch. All told, we were pleased. The great thing was my team was the only team to field two tandems, with my other team-mates coming in 4th in the sprints. I can't say I remember the last time one team had more than one big bike. Next year we're hoping for three.
