Mini V brakes are the best investment I have made in my cross bike. I tend to mountain bike on it more than I should and fork chatter drives me crazy, this is where the Mini-V's are nice, super powerful and zero chatter no matter how hard I brake.
I have not run the TRP brakes but I have many miles on my Paul Mini Motos and can not say enough good things about them. They are pricey but man do they work well!
