Regarding the vet... there is a mobile vet service in the area. I saw their converted RV one day while at Big Lots. Should I ever actually get a service animal and unable to make it to a vet for whatever reason, you can bet I'll be using them as a back-up.
Groceries... there is a local chain that was experimenting with home delivery. I don't know if they still offer it, but it was in beta at a few select locations- and mine wasn't one of them
. Luckily, the nearest store is easy walking distance and I can always send a child up there if need be (and have).
