The beauty of life in the USA is that there's something for everybody. Bike trains aren't my cup of tea, and go against many of the reasons folks bike commute, such as freedom from schedules. But if folks like them and volunteers are willing to make them happen, more power to them. I suspect that after a time when riders are more comfortable, they'll move on and ride independently. Or might be forced to if they're "stranded" after missing the train on their way home from work.
