Interesting observation on Neil Young and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I remember a Rolling Stone interview with Ronnie Van Zant years ago (obviously) where he was asked about the Neil Young comments on Sweet Home and I don't remember exactly what he said, but I think there was some animosity between them. I remember LS catching some PC heat for the line about "they love the governor" and his pointing out that immediately following those words comes "Boo Boo Boo" and that the band was never a supporter of Wallace.
