The original Raleigh Brooks spring equipped saddle had fairly stiff springs as I recall, but that was years ago. I don't recall it being bouncy. The suspension seatpost I have there now is set so that telescopes on any significant bumps with my weight on it, but it doesn't really bounce in a floaty way with multiple up and down movements after a bump.
