I was just saying that if someone starts riding a fixed-gear (for whatever reason), you can't expect them to be a pro right out the box.

I have no problem with the visibility of Team PUMA - it has done a lot for the sport of track racing, whether anyone wants to admit it or not. Heck, it is a great opportunity for the riders. It is everything else that is profits driven that is currently in the propwash of it all.
