I get a pretty fair discount at my LBS and obviously this depends on your choice of rim and so on.
My build.
WI Eno Ecc. Hub 32H 130mm / WI Racer X front hub 32H (they match nicely) laced to Open Pro's with Stainless 14 gauge spokes, 3 cross. Cost $300 built. I priced this build elsewhere months ago for over $400 ... boo.
