I've had a couple of straight gauge hi-tensile steel bikes that rode nicely enough but also a couple that were very dead feeling.
+1 Bro, I would go with the Plug 3 city. Especially if you want a more do it all type, where you can gravel grind in a park, then swap tires and hit the street with a group. Overall a good 1st intro buy
