The only variable you have have is the pad material, as #Ravenhog notes, pad designs are specific to calipers.

For pad material, you have 2 main choices of material, resin (normally the stock pad) or metal (sintered) in addition there are also pads with Kevlar and other materials available.

For your bike, given the Rocky Mountain Element name has been used for 20ish years, you need to be really specific with which discs/calipers are fitted to your bike.
