On some other sites, I've read about folks having issues with Weider bar bells bending and actually snapping under loads above 300lbs. Are these bars really designed that poorly? Any suggestions on how to identify what the bar is? I got this off craigslist so don't know any history of it.
Take a picture of the end of it. I wold struggle to believe that they have broken. I have bent some bars but that was pulling narrow grip and well above 300.
