Several years ago I met Curtis at NAHBS; he was at the Wheel Fanatyk booth with some of his hubs. I asked him about doing a run of fixed hubs using the early track bike OLD spacing (90mm front, 110mm rear), and he said it would take a run of at least ten sets to make it economically feasible.
If there were enough of us willing to spring ~$500 for a set, we could probably talk him into doing it.
Well, I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to that, it will cost me at least that much for a pair of vintage-NOS Schwinn hubs “IF” I can find them; just need eight more.
