I ride both paths several times each week. The Old Cutler path is a much more scenic path (several tourist spots also) although it does get a bit rough in spots. They are currently updating the M-path at the intersections and there are a lot of intersections. Mostly commercial (read strip malls) and follows South Dixie Hwy. Old Cutler is my preference but you can loose the path through Coral Gables if you're not careful and you have to cut over to the Dade trail at SW 216th St. as the path ends at just after 216th St. The trail signs are few and very far in-between. I can give detailed instructions for either trail. Just let me know which you would prefer.
