The serial number is on the lower head tube. Like i said ive been on a couple different sites and getting mixed answers. Is there not tell tell signs to helpout?
Did you use the link I provided? The serial number location tells us what decade it came from. Some were on the BB, some on the rear dropouts, etc. Your bike is a 70s bike. If you want to know the month and year, go to the site I recommended.

Identifying the model is impossible because Schwinn would make many different models, all starting with the same frame. They'd just add different features and accessories to create the different models.


If you know the year, you could look at the old catalogs and determine which "possible names" your bike once had.
