Heck the Rohloff hub shell is so big if you do break a spoke theres nothing in the way.

+ they're dishless so breaking a highly tensioned dished drive side spoke, part of all derailleur wheel builds, becomes less Likely.

My Past rig I built a 48 spoke wheel , 47 spares in the wheel were fine for days
before I got to where I could Borrow a Big Wrench & used my Freewheel remover*

as I build around a Phil Wood Freewheel Hub.. took me a Long ways after that spoke replacement, never needed another.

* + a round or 2 of Pints bought for the wrench Owner
