Which to buy: Trek VRF 300 or unknown Haro with hydraulic disc?

Edit: whoops, Trek VRX 300!

Both of these bikes are almost the same price and they are being sold by the same guy. I work in a shop but want to get into trail riding again, not XC. Can you guys give some input on which would be the better bike to upgrade down the line? I like the idea of a full suspension but not rim brakes on the Trek. As another complication, I have a 2007 Giant trance x2 frame that I could use the disc wheels and the shock from the haro for. I'd really like to get both bikes and flip the trek, but money is too tight. I'm leaning strongly toward the Haro to rob the wheels, shock, and possibly brake system from but the guy doesn't even know the model. The brakes look hydraulic, right?

I'm 5'11' btw. So the haro would be too small. Anybody know what model it is?
