Need new captain saddle
Its that time that I don't look forward to.
I have been using a Terry Zero Y saddle on the tandem forever but I think the one I have is wearing out and its time to move on.
I have been using a Selle Italia SLR Flow on my single and really like it. It doesn't have any padding but the shape is right for me and the shell flexes some. I have tried it on our tandem several times and it just doesn't work there. I don't know if is my positioning or if I am standing less but I think I need a padded saddle for the tandem. There is a padded version of the SLR called Max Gel Flow but its 145mm wide vs 131mm for the SLR and 140mm for the Terry. I am afraid it maybe be too wide for me. I know your favorite saddle may not work for me but it won't hurt to make suggestions.
