that's funny, I finally broke in a brooks and realized my right leg is considerably shorter than my left. I do ok with plastic saddles, but leather saddles don't lie. I'm jealous you took Eisentraut's course, the first one of his frames I saw was a revelation

On a steel bike, the tubes are far from perfect. It's just not in the cards for the way steel tubes are made. I don't doubt that there are similar problems with the tubes that the mass manufacturers use
