non-fixie:Just my person predilection: the non-original parts would not bother me a bit, as long as they are not so modern as to clash with vintage look of the frame. Nice lugs. I really like the look of the headset, quill stem and that butterfly brake-bridge. If you take it all apart, replace bearings, buff the Al bits and repair the paint and clear coat the frame, I'll bet it will be gorgeous.

Lenton58. It's not so much the lack of originality that bothers me - these bikes could be ordered with just about any combination of parts available BITD.
It's just that I feel that aero bits do not look right on this '76 frame, so I am going to check what my parts bin can cough up in terms of mid-seventies parts.
This doesn't look right, now does it?
