non-fixie:Just my person predilection: the non-original parts would not bother me a bit, as long as they are not so modern as to clash with vintage look of the frame. Nice lugs. I really like the look of the headset, quill stem and that butterfly brake-bridge. If you take it all apart, replace bearings, buff the Al bits and repair the paint and clear coat the frame, I'll bet it will be gorgeous.
Thanks, @Lenton58. It's not so much the lack of originality that bothers me - these bikes could be ordered with just about any combination of parts available BITD.

It's just that I feel that aero bits do not look right on this '76 frame, so I am going to check what my parts bin can cough up in terms of mid-seventies parts.

This doesn't look right, now does it?
