I couldn't get tektro 720s to work on my '93 B'stone XO-2. they worked in the rear but not the front. It has a fork crown and the cantis are clearly not as far apart as has become the norm. I ended up using a pair of suntour xc pro cantilevers I had in my parts box. My 1988 stumpjumper with a unicrown fork has no problem with modern cantilevers.
