My mom's Miyata 1000 has 700x38 Schwalbe Marathons with SKS P45 Longboards. It's kind of a tight fit, but it's definitely doable with that frame. I think I read somewhere that the true size of Marathons is a little smaller than what's listed, so YMMV.
