Funny you mention that. I also had a Corvette stolen. Mine was my daily driver and stolen from the DC Metro parking garage. Metro Police called 3.5 years later and Dade County police in FL recovered it. Apparently a chop shop owner got it and decided to keep it for his personal car. He got stopped for a traffic violation and the plates didn't match the car.
