GP 4000s are pretty sweet. I intend to try other good ones but the GP's are wearing well and riding nice.

I would not sweat a few bucks on bike tires; they are a cheap pleasure in the big picture, and long lasting too. Amortized across their useful life, cost differences are trivial between tires. If you are riding a lot you deserve a great tire.
