Thanks for all the feedback guys. Well, I feel much better now that I have some more info on it. All in all, a good find. Maybe I should have kept the Vintage Kent Diplomat that I scooped up last week, that was a 27 also and the frame was much lighter. All I did was clean it up, put it on Craigslist and sold it the next day. I always seem to find something in this neighborhood. I can honestly say that in the last 12 years I have found 7 bikes and sold 5 of them. The nicest one was a Fuji Road bike in canary yellow which someone had put out with the garbage and it was in very good shape,just very dusty and dirty. Needed new tubes and tires, not much more than just a good tune up after that. I had that bike for about 2 days before it was gone, again Craigslist. For now I will stick with the Bridgestone or kabuki, I want to upgrade some more and probably change the rims.
