Specialized Transition Pro for Casual Rider
I often look through Craigslist in the bike section for road bikes that will suit me better for riding the local bike trail with friends rather than my mountain bike. I'm pretty much as amature as they get when it comes to cycling. My question is, is the Specialized Transition Pro a good fit for me since I found one for only $600? I've found out that it's a triathlon bike, but will I be alright just using it on our local trail with a couple of friends? The only reason I'm really considering such a bike is because the price falls in line with other road bikes.
