The previous owner gave the frame a makeover somewhere along the line - internal rear brake cable, braze ons, re-routing the shifter cables under the BB etc. These didn't appear on production bikes until well into the 1980's. All the componentry however was largely original pat '71 and the frame detailing and lugwork were very much early 70's, The frame mods were the reason I ultimately decided to build it up as retro rather than restore as vintage
