^This. The fixed gear conversion market is all but done it seems where I live and there are plenty of hipsters here. I sold a conversion to a local student about 8 years ago. A year later he showed up to buy a mid 80's Bianchi with a Shimano 600 group. As mentioned in plenty of other threads people still ride a fixed gear bike, (like me) but want a classic geared bike. I do see plenty of teenagers on a Bikes Direct single speed/fixed gear. Most of them are coasting.
