Hello all,
I've been riding bikes since I was 7, sometimes a lot sometimes not. But now that I am retired I am doing more long touring. I have an SS-Coupled Easy Racer Tour Easy recumbent and just bought a Brompton. Couldn't be 2 more different bikes but hopefully each will help along the touring process. Last year I did a cross-Europe tour (couple of thousand miles) and I just recently did some of the Pacific Coast trail followed by most of the new Adventure Cycling Route 66 route (over 4000 miles altogether). There were many stretches on Route 66 routesthat should have been skipped over, but that wasn't easy to do with the recumbent. Ergo the Brompton. I'm hoping to tour with both - certainly the recumbent is the absolute best for comfort - the the Brompton is best for hopping around.

I live in Providence RI and am always up for a ride!
