wrt "...the C on the nuts..." was asking Binky about the wedgebolts. they, of course, could be be from a Carlton product as well. slightly odd that machine has T.D. Cross cottered bb paired with Italian arms/chainwheels. no shortage of British cottered chainsets. tends to make one suspect a case of "assembled from odd bits."
