So far, as of yesterday, I am at > 3,900 miles this year. Its just a bit behind last year at the same point, but I have no complaints. Its been the amount of summer pop-up thunderstorms that have cut a few rides short, or even forced a rest day. I have started moving my start times to later in the afternoon, and in the early morning on Saturday, due to this heat wave we are having.
I have to agree with BD, what is a season? That is the advantage to living in the deep southeast, and along the central Gulf Coast.
