Help Identifying This Bike?


So I bought this bike to steal the toe clips that were on it. It looks older, but I can't find any record of "Crown Wheels Co., LTD."

The stickers on the frame look like they may have been put on by someone other than the manufacturer maybe?

The shift kit is labelled "DAVID" and the brakes are labelled "Polygon" (which I guess is probably better than "non-spacial").

I'm guessing this is a junk frame, but I want to make sure before it gets scrapped. If it has any significance I'll keep it as a project and rebuild it.

So, can you help me identify this bike and its history?
