It's up and down South Park Dr. and it's more like 200 times (500 feet per repeat.) Pretty reasonable route for this goal, 12% average grade (not wasting energy on air resistance), no crazy switchbacks (I wouldn't want to be doing repeats up and down Diablo for 48 hours without sleep...)
