Hello.
I have a 20 year old Dutch commuter bike. Over the years, I've made some upgrades. Here's an older picture of it:
Cyclomanic: New Wheels. I had new wheels built for it, with drum brakes and a generator hub and 8 speed internal hub. Since the photo was taken it's received a new SKS bottom bracket, new chainring, cranks, Brooks seat, SKS chainboard.
I really like my bike, but the fork is a bit bent. It's been that way ever since the bike was crammed into an airplane across the Atlantic in 1996, but now it bothers me.
I'd like some help finding a new fork. Unless someone knows a bike shop in the Vancouver area that will straighten the old fork?
It's a fork with a threaded steerer tube and crown brazed or welded together. Fork rake seems to be about 92 mm - this seems to be different from common forks for road bikes. Outer diameter of the steering tube is 1". Steering tube length is about 216mm.
There's a marking on the steering tube: "CODE 130". Should that tell me something?
Help will be much appreciated.
Thank you.
Michiel
