Maybe go tubeless. Other than that...I don't think I'd start switching parts for the sake of doing it. Next thing you know...you'll be past what you spent on the bike in the first place. With that said...yes by switching out the shifters and derailleurs will improve the shift quality. The feel will mainly come from the shifters and not the derailleurs. The fork will make the biggest difference. Next will probably be going tubeless.

I also have beginner bike - Giant Revel 1. I've abused the hell out of that thing and even rode in snow several times. All I've had to deal with was a broken chain.
