I guess I could get a longer Chorus Crankset and use the Chorus BB that I have but I would rather get the SR Cranks to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
If you're trying to mount a vintage Super Record crank on a Chorus bottom bracket, be aware that the Super Record crank needs to be mounted on an asymmetrical spindle but the Chorus spindle is symmetrical, putting the SR crank too close to the frame. Assuming this is a 1st generation, non-cartridge Chorus bottom bracket, a 70-SS Gran Sport or Record (not Nuovo Record) spindle should provide the needed clearance using the existing Chorus cups.
