How do I remove these cranks?
Hello all, I'm a newbie bike mechanic attempting to disassemble my bike but I'm not sure how to go about removing the cranks. They are Shimano Deore LX Hollowtechs, but I'm not sure of any more specifics. I've searched around but can't find anything matching my particular setup. I purchased a Park Tools CCW-5 crank wrench but the hex wrench side was far too small to fit inside (both length and width wise). I've never removed any crankset or bottom bracket, so I'm pretty confused about how to accomplish this. I already removed the large chain ring but this didn't provide any insight into removing the entire crankset. Any advice is much appreciated. The frame is a Specialized Stumpjumper FSR M4 from around 2002.
