Can someone answer a question I have concerning bent derailleur hangers. If you think your hanger is bent why would you spend upwards of $60-$70 for a tool when you can simply replace the hanger for a fraction of that cost?
Sometimes the dropout has also bent, in which case simply replacing the hanger onto a bent dropout wouldn't solve the alignment problem.
