That's why I liked rpen's recent review of his workswell bike. A very balanced assessment. As in, a nice fun bike which accelerates well, but isn't all that comfortable.

Then again, you have the fanboys who write things like: "I had to buy a $20K bike because my hero won the tour with it." But he rides 16 mph in the middle of a draft pack.
