Murray Missile, what is a good online source for the tape you use? I would dearly like my friend to light up like a UFO at night.
I get most of it off Ebay but have also been able to collect "scraps" from a local sign shop for free. They're ends of rolls and pieces they have trimmed off and were going to throw away. The sign shop stuff isn't usually 3M though and the 3M is a bit nicer, on the other hand the shop sometimes has a better color selection.
