Funny story. I have Gibraltar totally figured out, and will big ring to the Monastery, then dump to small ring early at the Hippie Commune to get my HR back down before that super hard left switchback, then power the last turn and Cipollini until the top.

On vacation last summer I did Gibralter 3x on a heavy steel rental bike. Someday I want to go back with my own bike and do it right.

Question: At the top where you meet camino cielo, do you ever go right on ECC? does that go anywhere? I always went straight/left on ECC to painted cave/old smp

another question: do (sane) people ride on 154? I took it from painted cave down and it was hair raising with heavy vehicle traffic
