+1 ^^^ Pelican cases are not only water proof , they seal so well as to be air Tight & include an equalization vent

to open a case you closed at a higher altitude than the one you want to open it..

I'm using a Compact Manfrotto 190 CXPro4 Carbon tripod along with a Thinktank Airport Essential backpack. Total weight for both is under 30lbs.
