New Bianchi L"Eroica bike, it's here!

I haven't seen anyone post that they had actually got one yet but mine came in today. This is how it was packed, mostly pre-assembled, with lots of bubble wrap and in a huge box! I asked my shop not to assemble it since I had planned on a few modifications during the assembly.

There were a couple of surprises in the spec; it came with clincher rims instead of tubulars (as indicated online) which is fine with me. I would have changed those right away anyway. It also came with Vittoria Zaffiro Pro tires, in 23c. After having ridden 3 L'Eroica long routes I know these are too small and will put something larger on. There is lots of clearance for a larger tire.

Overall the finish looks beautiful! Excellent paint quality, lots of shiny chrome, and all components are polished aluminum. After assembly I will take more pics with better detail. As of right now I am very pleased!!!
