I am in the restaurant business and today's pretentious and uneducated craft beer crowd was yesterday's pretentious and uneducated wine snob.
I know and enjoy all types of beer but you would never catch me dead extolling the virtues of spices, hops and wheat. Don't even get me started on the nonsense they market as session IPA lol.
After a couple of beers I always switch to vodka rocks and am glad to pay whatever for one of my favorites but again you won't find me gushing over how many times distilled and what bs fresh mountain spring provided the water.
Now get off my lawn!
