It's a good thing that the spindle is OK because many of the Sekine from this era used the SR Silver crankset, which uses a rare 3 degree taper instead of the standard two degree taper. If so, you are not going to find a sealed cartridge unit that is compatible with these arms. Check the markings on the spindle. it sounds like you may have a 5K or 5M spindle, which are three degree taper. The model should also be embossed on the crank arms.
